In some cases you cannot even get a track list without downloading. The album is fantastic nonetheless. I have the British issue that was originally mono. Not that I have a complaint about either version of the Who.

And the 8 or 10 years following Tommy, including the albums Live At Leeds, Quadrophenia, Who's Next, Who By Numbers, and Townshend's early solo stuff, saw some of the most influential and powerful rock ever recorded from the Quintessential Rock band. This CD is what a good dance LP was before Madonna convinced everybody that casio keyboards and programmed drum synths were soulful. It seems like centuries ago when I first heard this record. My families record player was tortured again and again listening to this album as loud as possible.

Keep in mind that some of the cuts sound quite primitive by today's standards. But there are some classics here for Who fans. The "Kids Are Alright" is one of my favorite and best Who song ever. Do listen to the "Ox" and hear Keith Moon exploring and exploding on the drums. Simply terrific, who plays piano on this cut? For Who fans this is a must. For people who braved playing the family Hi Fi so loud that their Dad would yell, "Turn that noise down," this will bring back memories.
